My dad is an intense guy who loves the guitar and golf. His new thing is buying and selling gently used golf balls. The first time he told me about it I said "Well, where are you getting them from?" and he said, "I got a guy." and then I said, "Well, where does he get them from?"..."He's got a guy."

My mom and dad met on vacation when my mom was 17 and my dad was 20 in Lake of the Ozarks, Miss.
My mom cuts hair, makes really cute pillow cases and all kinds of other creations. She taught me how to crochet and quilt, even though I still have a lot to learn. She is super crafty but she would probably say "Oh, I don't know about that!"

My family's love for Tinka runs deep. It can't be explained with words.

Kenny and Anna celebrated their second anniversary and are getting married June 4!

Soleil is Anna's daughter and my soon to be niece. Last week before I had my new camera I babysat her and we created a beanie baby world all over the house.

I've been getting to see a lot of my old friends; Patti is training me to be a bartender while I'm home.

I took Tinka for a walk at Garnsey Park so I could let her off the leash and she could explore a little. It was a great idea until she decided to roll in MEAT GARBAGE.

It has been a lot of fun to visit places that used to be a regular part of my life. I used to go to Mitchell's with my Grandma Jo when I was little and she would buy me "Pound Puppies" (tiny plastic animals) that they would sell at the register. It is always a little bittersweet going back because everything has changed, but at the same time hasn't.
